Dear Eshel,

The events in Ukraine over the past weeks have been devastating for the people of Ukraine and heartbreaking to witness. Your.Rentals supports the Ukrainian people and stands with the international community against any military invasion.

At Your.Rentals, our actions in response to this are to humanely aid and support the Ukrainian people while enabling our customers to respond in a positive way.

We are mobilising our resources to provide humanitarian help to Ukrainians - including those who cannot leave Ukraine and those who have left the country.
•Your.Rentals is launching a campaign for hosts and property managers in certain countries, enabling them to provide free or affordable emergency accommodation for the 2 million Ukrainians who have fled the country. This will include providing support via the Airbnb.org initiative. An email outlining how you can contribute will come soon.

•We are waiving service fees for any bookings made with Ukrainian hosts, in support of people around the world who book short-term rentals in Ukraine as a way to send direct aid. We have also dedicated a team to follow up with you who operate in Ukraine to ensure you can receive such donations.

•We want to use our platform to spread awareness. In our marketing emails, we’ll include a link to verified ways that individuals and companies can support Ukraine.

•As a company and an employer, we have opened our doors to those who have been forced to leave Ukraine and are looking for new employment. And we’ve donated office space to a Ukrainian NGO to continue running their humanitarian relief operations from Sweden. If you can help Ukrainian refugees with employment, we are happy to share ways that you can do so.

Every decision is not a light decision. We had a long discussion with customers, employees and other stakeholders, and today we decided to suspend the activities of hosts and property managers operating within Russia.

People in Russia are now subject to flight bans to many countries. Financial sanctions now block the processing of payments using cards issued by many Russian banks. If you have upcoming bookings from Russian guests, our Customer Support team will be in touch with you to ensure there is a minimal impact on your business.

Although we are just one company in a big world - we have a large community of hosts and property managers. We hope that our actions together can make a difference to the millions of people whose lives have been devastated by these events.
